I met Sam at the end of May 2026 for a few studio sessions, and from the beginning it was clear how strong and precise her vision was.
I was fascinated by her determination, but what impressed me the most was the musical research she had done before even walking into the studio. She understood the scene The Bloody Beetroots came from, the history behind the sound, and what we could build from there.
Everything happened in a very organic way. It felt like going back in time to move forward. A kind of back to the future. We went digging into the original TBB sound, brought that DNA back into the room, and gave it a contemporary shape.
