The Bloody Beetroots and Sam Quealy come together on I LIKE IT, a track born from a series of studio sessions at the end of May 2026.
The sessions naturally led them back to the roots of The Bloody Beetroots, digging into the sounds and energy that originally shaped the project and finding a way to bring them into the present.
I LIKE IT is the result of that exchange: two different generations meeting through the same musical language.

The Bloody Beetroots – Live at Montreux Jazz Festival
New York, NY (September 4, 2026) – Mercury Studios announces The Bloody Beetroots – Live at Montreux 2017, an explosive 30-track release capturing a collision of electronic music, punk energy and dance-floor intensity on the iconic Swiss stage.
Led by visionary founder Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo and performed with an expanded live-band lineup, the concert spans his first three albums. The set features signature tracks including “Warp 1.9,” “Rocksteady,” “Chronicles of a Fallen Love” and “My Name Is Thunder,” alongside fan favourites from Romborama, Hide and The Great Electronic Swindle.
Founded in 2005, The Bloody Beetroots project has spent more than two decades combining electronic textures, distorted punk, classical arrangements and a fiercely theatrical performance style. Live at Montreux 2017 captures that vision at its most visceral, precise and powerful.
The Bloody Beetroots – Live at Montreux 2017 will be released by Mercury Studios on October 9, 2026, on Blu-ray+CD and double LP
